"Did He Really Say One of the Hardest Holes in Texas? By; Jeff Frazer

Hole # 3

Old Brick Yard Golf Course

Ferris, Texas

(972) 842-8700

I almost turned around and went back to the car when the gentleman at the pro shop told us that one of the hardest holes in Texas was located at the Old Brick Yard Course. ( #10- the 530 yard par 5 over water) Robert, Dawson, and I smartly chose to play the par 4 -- 339 yard first hole. I got lucky with a 3 metal off the tee followed by a decent approach. Once again, my chipping let me down. After finally getting on, I two putted for a 6. Robert teed off and found the fairway near the fairway sandtrap. He went over the green in two and was able to putt back on in his third shot. He then two putted for a bogey five.

WOW!!! This course at the Old Brick Yard is a nice find off of I-45 in Ferris. The course is lush and beautiful, but you had better bring your "A" Game. The staff was so helpful and obviously proud of their facility. We will be back to this course---

Hey Robert, Dawson & Jeff, it looks like you guys are having a great time! Hey, Jeff, are you going to let little brother Robert outplay you on EVERY hole??? You're really going to have to step it up a notch. Robert, you guys looked great standing in front of that fabulous new front door! Bet you wish you could jump in the new pool when you get home in the afternoons this week rather than taking a dip in the mud pond, huh??? Dawson, you look like a pro out on the course! You'll outplay your dad AND your uncle in no time. Austin, I'm looking forward to seeing you play today! Love you guys, Becky
